WORLD IDLY DAY – 2023
A platform to showcase innovation & culinary skills by budding Chefs
On March 27th, 2023, The Hotel School’s organizing committee launched the prelims of The Chef Competition to celebrate and recognize one of South India’s most beloved delicacies, the Idly. The event aims to raise awareness about World Idly Day while also providing a platform for budding chefs to showcase their culinary skills and innovative techniques.
The competition witnessed an overwhelming response from the students, who participated with great enthusiasm and left no stone unturned to impress the judges with their creativity and talent. The Chef Competition consisted of two preliminary rounds and only the top twelve contestants advanced to the finals on March 29th, 2023.
