Interviewer:-  Who gives you Inspiration to cook?
Chef:- My Mom gives me inspiration to cook and yes I have learnt cooking from Gurudwara, when I was kid, I used to go to Gurudwara to practice making perfect rotisand I was very much inspired by the style of cooking they used to do.
Interviewer:- When was the first time you discovered that you want to be a chef?
Chef:- When I was in 6th standard, I made some roti and daal on the occasion of Karwa Chauth for my mother and sister in law and We Punjabis have a culture of sharing every small information to everyone in the family, so my mom used to tell it to everyone that I am a very good cook and I cook very good daal. Their appreciation encouraged me to take my first step towards my journey of becoming a chef.
Interviewer:- How was your journey from being a Gym Trainer to a Master Chef and now as an Entrepreneur?
Chef:- Life is unpredictable and I truly believe in destiny. Winning Master Chef was a life changing face for me and I have never looked back after that. Yes God has been very kind and my journey till date has been amazing.
Interviewer:- Your first break in experimenting your skills as an entrepreneur?
Chef:- While working for Nach Baliye,Alk Tiwari whi is my partner came to meet me on the set and we both discussing about desserts, foods. It was then we decided to work on our own restaurant, it took almost six month to work on the concept, name it and then bring it to existence. Now we have two restaurants b the name of “Macchiato Pizzeria Grill & Bar”
Interviewer:- Tell us something about your upcoming ventures?
Chef:- We are planning to open an Indian Restaurant by the name of MAATI focusing majorly on rural kitchen which will be offering different menu every day.
Interviewer:- What do you aspire to do as a chef in coming future?
Chef:- I don’t think about future, when I won Master Chef I decided to live in Present and focus on the projects I am doing currently. But yes I am thinking of writing my own Book in coming future.

Chef:- I like visiting Purani Delhi a lot. One can find great restaurants over there offering authentic North Indian Cuisines.

Interviewer:- What advice would you give to new young chefs who are inspired by your style of cooking?
Chef:- The advice I would like to give the new young chefs is to whatever they are doing they should do it from there Heart as I am a person who cooks from my heart as I am a person who cooks from my heart and I believe in putting all my love to the food I cook and serve. Also they should live in present and focus on whatever they are doing by giving there best to it.
